HacBurn README file

Homepage: http://hacburn.sourceforge.net Dev email: aperh@users.sourceforge.net

HacBurn is a gtk2-based graphic interface to cdrecord and a host of other utilities that aid in writing a CD. HacBurn is written in Perl (www.cpan.org) which makes it easy to modify and maintain. If you are looking for a tool that lets you master a CD without being too much of a hassle, HacBurn is the app for you.

Some of the features HacBurn includes are:

        Data CD creation
        Audio CD creation
        ISO making
Ripping audio CDs to mp3/ogg/wav files
        On-the-fly copying between two drives
        Single drive copying
ATA burning for Linux 2.6 kernels
SCSI burning for Linux 2.4 and other operating systems

To install HacBurn see the included INSTALL file.

Some known issues are:

General flakiness, HacBurn is rather unstable software, you might end up with coasters
Should work on all *nix operating systems, yet most likely doesn't (testing..feedback..send)
The progressbar does NOT work at all, if anybody can help me with this i would be forever gracious
