PyXmame 0.4.0
A PyGTK frontend for the xmame.
Features:
* Allows you search, browse and launch games from a GTK interface.
* It uses a dinamic list that is very responsive even with a lot of roms.
* Allows to filter by more than one characteristic.
* It has a dialog to find specific games.
* It uses a list of sets of images to show the game image.
Installation
execute setup.py as root
python2.4 setup.py install
To Do
Any contribution will be welcome because the application is in a beginner stage.
These are some ideas that would improve the application.
- Design PyXmame logo.
- Correct my bad english in software and documentation.
- Complete preferences dialog with all file configuration parameters.
- Allow changing image clicking on it.
- Integrate Glade with application.
- Support for several versions of xmame emulator.
- Show the columns with diverse colors according to the state of roms.
- Support for gettext in source tgz package.
