Once upon a time, there was a small planet populated
by two major species : An extremely stupid kind of
mammals, and ordinary chickens.
One day, in this small planet, a big and powerful country
decided to attack a small, underdeveloped but resource-rich
country just at the opposite corner of the planet. But, they
feared the opposing army might use banned chemical weapons....
The military intelligence and R&D departments then thought
of a frivolous solution. THEY'D USE POOR CHICKENS AS DETECTION
MECHANISMS TO CHEMICAL AND BIOLOGICAL WARFARE. Thousands of
chickens were captured and sent to the front, unaware of their
fate, without knowing they were going to die a death of shame,
without the chance to eat a last meal of juicy corn...
That they won't make love again in that dark corner of the
chicken house under the soft light of the full moon, where
they used to share their bodies and souls to lay that cute
egg... That they won't ever 'KOT! KOT! happily again
EXCEPT IF....
.....THE FEARLESS SQUICKI SAVES THEM BY
CATCHING THEM BEFORE THE CRUEL FIGHTERS OF AN IMPERIALIST
ARMY, PAID TO SPILL INNOCENT BLOOD IN THE NAME OF CAPITALIST DEVELOPMENT
Gameplay is simple. You (the squicki) move with the arrow keys and try to collect as many chickens as you can, before the soldiers. Each level ends when you find Mahatma Ghandi's soul. Where is it? Souls are invisible, of course you can't see it. For the first, easy levels, it is located in the upper right corner of the screen. After some level you can also get the frivolous carrot-gun, which you fire at the soldiers with the space bar. Also read the original README for the game.
