Build

The makefiles makes on Mandrake 7.1. Other than that you are on your own.

I've run it using Nvidia's XFree 3.3 and XFree 4.0 acceleration. And it will run unaccelerated if you have a small window and turn the textures off (see the file 'parameters').

Part of the code (panel.c) is based on the US Naval Acadamy's online panel code converted from Fortran to C and modified quite a bit (but the math remains the same.

When first run the program updates a file 'parameters' which contains the settings. All these can be fiddled with to control things like the cloud and sun positions.

The numpad arrows and arrow keys move the control surfaces. Numpad 5 centers the control surfaces 'A' 'S' 'D' and 'W' move the player. 'L' launches the plane. 'R' resets the plane. 'Z' zooms the camera. 'C' turns on hase mode. ESC exits
