Stardust :-)
A Free Space Flight Simulator for a Free Universe !

Licence

Stardust is a free software available under the terms of the GNU Public Licence. Refer to the file COPYING (which should be included in this distribution) for the specific terms of this licence.

Requirements

From now only GNU/Linux version is supported : GNU/Linux(i386, kernel 2.4.x, XFree86 4.1.0 ou later) ; Processor 400 MHz with 64 Mo RAM ;
Sound card ;
Keyboard ; Joystick/GamePad optional.

You will also need OpenGL (OpenGL 1.2 or later | Mesa 3.4 or later) and a hardware 3D graphics accellerator that supports OpenGL.

LibSDL 1.2, zlib 1.1.4, libxml2 2.4.19, libtiff 3.5.5 are requiered too.

In order to compile sources:
autoconf and autoheader 2.13
automake 1.4
make 3.79.1
gcc 2.95 or 3.0+

Usage

Simply run:

$> stardust

And for the help:

$> stardust --help

Bugs report

You can find some problem with this release, so if you discover a bug contact us please.

Have you really discover a bug ?

If you execute an instruction producing an error other than 'disk full' you may have found a bug. But you must be sure that is due to our software.

Bug report :

When you are sure, it is important to describe the bug under an exploitable format. For that we need a description of the working environment and the list of commands lunched from the starting up of our software.
