Primal Form

Primal Form is a 3D modeler for UNIX distributed under the GNU General Public License. It sports a simple user interface inspired by Nichimen's N-World. Other features include an extensible architecture using plug-ins and a TCP/IP command port.

This is a development release which is minimally useful. The goal for version 1.0 is to have a powerful yet simple-to-use modeler for video games and other 3D applications.

Most of the development has been directed towards working with polygonal meshes. Future versions will include nurbs, bones, animation, and plug-ins to call external renderers.

For installation instructions see the INSTALL file. The user manual is doc/userman.html.
The developer manual is doc/devman.html. For the latest information see the website at http://primal.sourceforge.net.
