pnmstitch resulted from a temporary vacuum within the MAC OS X toolset to deal with automated stitching of set of panoramic Digital images. The tool has now been ported to MAC OS X, Linux, FreeBSD and CYGWIN; and has been incorporated into the netpbm graphics toolset releases 10.7 and higher (Thanks to Bryan Henderson). Continuing development in the pnmstitch project, with a commitment to provide a MAC OS X binary package and stable source snapshots being delivered into the netpbm project.
