Mango is a recipe management software. The main motivation of the project is to provide an open source mealmaster compatible application.
Other supported file formats include:
- RecipeML (import still incomplete),
- RezKonv (version 1.50 or later),
- a native format (including images et cetera).
This software is distributed under the BSD license. See the file COPYRIGHT for more information.

Mango is developed on FreeBSD. However, it is occasionally tested on the following systems:
- Irix (MIPSPro Compiler 7.x)
- Mac OS X (GNU gcc 2.95)
- Solaris (Forte WS 6)
- Windows (Microsoft Visual Studio 6)
It should also work on all other platforms supported by Qt.
