Requirements: a ready installed Tcl version 8.3 or above or Tclkit version 8.3 or above

Dear friends of "Losungen"!

Here comes version 1.9.1 of XLosung, developed on Unix / Linux but ready to run on MacOS, MacOS X and Windows, with Tcl or Tclkit available.

The installation is desribed in "INSTALL" and "LIESMICH" contains this document in german. Now XLosung is able to display different languages (also with different encodings) -- the finding of the verse number is very quick and dirty, but works ;-) The GUI-language cannot be changed -- but this may change.

There are some documents that accompany all freeware programs and give you some deeper information and background. You can find them for the supported languages in the language dependent subdir from "docs/"

P.P.S.: There is an alpha version with nice configuration support. I expect it ready at the end of march -- but don't hold your breath.
