Information on compiling Hanzim for Macintosh:

Due to Herculean efforts at Sun, Tcl/Tk was ported to run on both Windows and Macintosh platforms, so with a C compiler, you should theoretically be able to compile this program on either of these machines. However, some makefile fiddling and other adjustments are required.

Unfortunately, I have not had access to a Macintosh with development tools, so I haven't done anything on this front. If you manage to get it running, please email me about it (arobert@cogsci.ucsd.edu) so I can include your fixes (and a compiled binary) in the distribution.

Good luck!

NOTE, Tcl/Tk and some Chinese fonts are available in the subdirectory "Macintosh" where you downloaded this distribution.
