QT (graphic kit, usually already included with KDE): http://www.trolltech.com/download/opensource.html
ALSA (already included in new kernels): http://www.alsa-project.org
SPEEX (open source audio codec):

SoundTouch (audio processing library): http://www.surina.net/soundtouch/
Ogg (stream library):

The following packages are optional:
JACK (an advanced low latency sound driver) http://jackit.sourceforge.net
