• \ | / - F A Q Q: I tried the new Service Menu activation, and it works, but now I see

  this entry in my SIM-stored phonebook, it's called '!SL45c' and it's marked VIP. Are you trying to fool me?

  1. No. The Service Menu only appears after inserting a special code at the last position of your SIM-stored phonebook. The entry has this weird name '!SL45c!' so the program can recognise it when enabling different styles of the menu. You can safely delete this entry, it will do no harm.
  2. I try to use option XX and when I do so, SL45c just hangs ...
  3. Try using option XX with -D 100, to turn on debugging and see if data has been sent TO the phone, and maybe if the phone returns some error. Also ensure yourself you are using the correct device. If not, use -d /dev/ttyS? to set the correct device.
