This tool is to be used for measuring different kinds of streams, it also tries create a good source to get concepts and resources for other tools that measure system usage.
You can mesure how KB/s grows a file received by FTP or NetCat for example. How fast processes eat memory, stream usage (pipe like), etc.
If you have problems measuring big transfers, try rebuilding mesure with GMP support. This would fix these problems.
