sbcd is a curses cd player, based on Creative Labs Play Utility 1.03 for ms-dos that came with the Soundblaster 16. (I missed it now I use linux :-).

LICENSE
sbcd is released under the GNU General Public License (GPL) and comes with absolutly no warranty. See COPYING for more information.

INSTALL
see INSTALL

USAGE
sbcd [OPTIONS]

see sbcd --help for options.

when running, keys are:

P - play cd from beginning
  S - stop
  SPACE - pause
  C - continue

P / pg dn - previous track
N / pg up - next track
R / left - rewind
F / right - forward

  down - rewind * 5
  up - forward * 5
  ESC - stop and exit
  X - exit
  E - eject
Q - query freedb for cd info
J - jump to position (use same format as --track argument)
 ^L - redraw

1-9,0,-,= - start play at track 1-9,10,11,12

CONFIG
when first run, sbcd will create ~/.sbcd and ~/.sbcd/config. It's options are equivalent to the long command line options, and allow you to specify frequently used options without using the command line everytime. Specifying the option on the command line will override the config.

for users upgrading from an earlier version, the config is now located in ~/.sbcd/config and your existing ~/.sbcdrc will now be ignored! This change is because future versions of sbcd might have some sort of playlists / local freedb caching so need a directory to store them. So, move you .sbcdrc to .sbcd/config
