INTRODUCTION

audioBox is a Linux mp3 player front-end based on LCDproc and mpg123 (or mpg321). It is intended to run on a standalone headless Linux machine as an "audio appliance", playing mp3 files from the local hard disk or CD-ROM.

audioBox uses an LCD display to show mp3 file list and song information. It provides menus for mp3 file search and playlist browsing. No video card or display is needed to run audioBox.

INSTALLATION
