Readme
This is Kxmms version 0.2, a KDE dock application for XMMS. If you manage to compile and install w/o problems (what you should), you should see five buttons in your KDE dock when you run it. I won't explain every single button, they are self explanatory. If XMMS is not running clicking on any button will run it. Using a shortcut (CTRL+ALT+N is the default) will bring up a menu with some opts. If you don't like the standard buttons, you can put yours in $(kde_datadir)/kxmms /buttons.xpm. Note that the buttons are 23x18 and the xpm must be 255 colors. Take a look at the NEWS file.
Install
You need the following things:
kdelibs-devel
xmms-devel
KDE and XMMS ;)
all packages that those above require
other stuff required for compiling (hmmm, a compiler? ;))
The standard procedure:
make
make install
should do it.
Program binary will be located in $(kde_bindir) usually /usr/bin or /opt/kde/bin
and images will be in $(kde_datadir)/kxmms.
