- Installing:
Yamdager requires:
- QT3 libs (http://www.trolltech.org)
- mpg123 (http://www.mpg123.de)
- MusicBrainz libs (http://www.musicbrainz.org)
- libcdaudio (http://libcdaudio.sourceforge.net)
Now you can install yamdager:
1) make
2) su
3) chmod +s yamdager
4) make install
That sould be all...
Now run the program './yamdager' and set up hardware. Settings -> Hardware setup.
- Hardware Interface:
*** USE THE HARDWARE INTERFACE AT OWN RISK!!! I ACCEPT NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY DAMAGE CAUSED TO YOUR MINIDISC PLAYER OR COMPUTER *** The best is to build the official hw interface found on yamdagers's homepage, but it 'should' work with others, based on multiplexers. Try using hardware setup window.
- Settings:
Default settings should work on all supported players.
Tested typing speeds:
MZ-R70 18000;
MZ-R91 24000;
