Back to files

12 January, 2002
oggment-0.0.2

Description

a mixing/streaming environment able to mix an unlimited (depending on the CPU) number of vorbis encoded audio files from the hardisk with a line/mic input from the soundcard and stream to an icecast2.0 server.

at the moment, this code is for developers. however, if you get it to compile, it should be usable. It mixes and plays the sound plus encodes to file and/or to a set of servers.

it could be that this code leads into a subset of apps...thinking especially of writing an ogg vorbis encode/decode/streaming lib for pure-data <http://pure-data.org>

the next release can be expected around March/April 2002.

see INSTALL for installation instructions.

see USAGE on how to make a playlist and keycommands.

this code is licensed under the gnu general public license (GPL) and comes with absolutely NO WARRANTY whatsoever. see COPYING for details.
