VU Leds v0.2 - README

This is VU Leds, a plugin for XMMS <http://www.xmms.org> which simulates a vu meter using the keyboard LEDs.

This is BETA CODE and should be treated as such.

To install:

read INSTALL

To uninstall:

        su root
        make uninstall

USAGE:
There are two configuration checkboxes:

        Reverse LEDs: This is for owners of the Microsoft
                Natural keyboard, or those who just wish the
                LEDs would travel in the opposite direction.

        Binary flash: This uses a 0-7 scale to measure the
                sound samples in, counting from 0 to 7 in
                binary.  Not to pretty, but even those
                who don't know binary will see a pattern
                emerge eventually
