- This is an unfinished version. I do not plan to continue as NotMD's
lead developer for reasons explained on the homepage (notmd.sf.net).
This tarball represents my latest work, it is a complete rewrite of
NotMD compared to 0.1.1.
Features implemented are:
- New, glade-based GUI
- Based on a Model View Controller Interface which makes the code more structured and far easier to maintain
- Gstreamer based music and tag infrastructure
- New, cleaner programming doctrine
- Proper debugging infrastructure
- Beginnings of a modular dependency infrastructure
What is left to do is:
- Finish threading of the gstreamer decodebin part
- Hook up the GUI
- Test it
- Complete Documentation
I hope you find this release useful, it is aimed at programmers and
not users :)

- Some of the gstreamer related code is based on code distributed with the python-gst debian package, the code in question is GPL'ed
- The spinning icon displayed when waiting is based on an XCursor set created by Marko Sosic (pinux@studio-kappo.com) and distributed under the GPL
- The NotMD icon and various bits used in other icons is based on an icon created by Jakup Steiner (http://jimmac.musichall.cz), it is GPL'ed
- The arrow icons are made by Everaldo (http://www.everaldo.com) and are distributed as part of the Crystal Clear iconset under the GPL
