dxr3Player for Debian
The program is compiled with LIRC, VGA overlay and joystick support enabled. See the README file for more information about these features. French instructions can be found in the LISEZMOI file.
Unless you use version 0.14.0 of the DXR3 (em8300) drivers, you need to patch and compile them. You can download the driver sources from:
As of this writing, version 0.12.0 and 0.13.0 seem to work besides 0.14.0. To patch them, perform the following steps:
- Download and unpack the em8300 sources
- Patch them using one of the patches found in this directory:
em8300-0.12.0.patch em8300-0.13.0.patch
- Compile (at least) the modules as described in the documentation
- Load the modules compiled from the patched sources
