vncselector for Debian
I recommend installing the tightvncserver and xtightvncviewer packages. These are superior (at least I've seen better performance) than RealVNC. Make sure you have a password set up for your VNC session (~/.vnc/passwd) and away you go!
NOTE: This is my first Debian package, so let me know if I've botched something up. :-)
