DHCPDman is a graphical tool based on Red Hat's system-config-* utilities aiming to provide simple access to a dhcp server's configuration file and settings. The tool utilizes pre-defined option lists, drag-and-drop hosts, a built-in IP calculator, and a simple interface to make server management a snap. The program is also highly customizeable to most any environment.

General Options:

DHCPDman's general options page presents options used to set generic options that will affect the whole network. These options affect all hosts, subnets, and groups, unless specified within themselves.

Options
DHCPD Arguments -- Extra arguments that will be passed to the dhcpd server at run time.

Server Authoritive -- If checked, the server will act as the primary dhcpd server on a given network. Uncheck this if there is another dhcp server on the network whose information has precedence over yours.

Allow Unknown Hosts -- This is used to tell dhcpd whether or not to dynamically assign addresses to unknown clients.

Allow Bootp -- This is used to tell dhcpd whether or not to respond to bootp queries.

Options List -- This is a list of known dhcpd options you may set, and their types. Simply click in the "value" column on the corresponding row, and type in your value. An IP address will be tested for correct format and fixed as appropriate. Flags are entered as 'on' or 'off'. Strings can be entered as desired. If a value is found invalid, it will not be allowed to be entered. Deleting a value will remove it from your config.
