***** PLATFORMS *****

QtEZ is known to compile fine on the the following platforms: (please send in with more if you compile on a platform not below)

Linux

                      ******* INFO *******
                     -------========-------

This is a development environment for Qt. It is intended to write C++ source code based on information it's told, developed on LINUX for X11R6. I have heard success stories on a few other unices, but somehow doubt a TrollTech customer who has bought Qt for Win* will be able to get this to compile, as it has some system calls not terribly portable, but as soon I get my NT lib in the mail (it's coming right?) I'll hack up some stuff so you can cross platform develop, GUI style.

***** DYNAMIC COMPONENTS *****

There is support for dynamic loading components at run time. This will allow you to build your own components for QtEZ and not even have sources to it. More documentation will follow in the docs/tutorial/compons.html. If you do NOT have an ELF system you may find some complaints. I put preprocessor if's to prevent a non-ELF system from seeing the code, though I don't have access to one, so please tell me if you cann't get it to compile/run.

If you love QtEZ you can send job offers/money/food my way, or hate it then feel free to tell me why also. Thanks for trying QtEZ, you can contact me at jprokop@ibl.sk

***** PLUGINS *****

There is support for plugins.
