INTRODUCTION

        gtkcomic is a comic database program i have written to keep track
        of my collection. its my first program i've written under linux.
        i did it because i have not found a program which met all my
        requirements. the current release is really simple, but i'll keep
        working on it.

INSTALL

please read the file 'INSTALL' for instructions or
change to the gtkcomic directory and type: ./configure make make install

REQUIREMENTS

        you need glib/gtk+ 1.?.?
        - i use glib/gtk+ 1.2.6 but it should work on earlier versions
