What is GNU Applet?
GNU Applet(gnuapplet) is an applet that can (1) launch gnu emacs when clicked, (2) open an file on GNU Emacs by draging-and-dropping an icon from gnome desktop and (3) make an icon that contains the name of file or directory associated with the current emacs buffer by dragging from the applet. To say simply, GNU Applet is a GUI version of gnuclient.
