This tool is based on the Ted X/Motif RTF editor
A patch will be applied to the source code, and a command-line-only utility will be built based on the Postscript rendering engine included in the Ted editor.
X libraries are required, but no X server or Motif.

tar xzf ted-2.8.src.tar.gz (the Makefile can do this too)
