OVERVIEW
This is like every other text to pdf converter out there, except you can also do indexing. It was primarily written to act as a utility to convert from old mainframe print formats to something that can be easily posted to a website. Most old greenbar reports are just plain text files, but unfortunately the greenbar format does not lend itself to the web. With ipdf, spool files can be converted on request to PDF documents, formatted and even indexed as a bonus.
INSTALL
Installation works just like other autoconf style projects. Run configure, make, and make install. If everything works out you're done. The most likely problem is that you'll need to install pdflib. If you don't have it, get it at http://www.pdflib.com, download and install, and then come back to build ipdf.
USAGE
Consult the man page for options and configuration files.
The default settings are for a form length or 66 and line width of 135, on landscape. A good starting point for green-bar style reports to be shrunk down to fit on 8.5x11 in landscape mode.
