license GPL http://www.gnu.org/copyleft/gpl.html thanks to sikor_sxe for the great joystick plugin : sikor_sxe at radicalapproach dot de

Usage
run ./joystickConf.py enter the # of the game you would like to config your joystick for after each prompt press the # (on the keyboard) that corrisponds with the joystick button # you would like. If you don't plan to use a certain key just hit Enter. Enter only numeric values anything else will cause the earth to crash into the sun!

The best way to find out what joystick # you want is to run jstest --event /dev/whateveryourjsdeviceis in another terminal at the same time. Pressing a button on you joystic will show what button # it is.

When you have finished a config file will be in the same dir as joystickConf.py with the name of 1.cfg or 2.cfg etc depending on what game you selected. If you are using gzinc for your frontend, gzinc will automatically use the correct .cfg file for the game selected. For example if you use gzinc to play Street Fighter EX (JP) gzinc will use the 1.cfg file. If you do not have a .cfg file for that game gzinc will use the .cfg file you selected in the settings, or nothing at all.

I know this all sounds very confusing but believe me it is not nearly as confusing as trying to config your own joystick without joystickConf.py :)
