vMovieDB - Easy way to watch...
1.Overview
vMovieDB is a movie collection manager for the GNOME desktop.
Current features of vMovieDB are:
* Play selected movie with your favorite video player.
* Manage various types of information for your movies such as:
title, year, media type, quality, subtitles,
location, genre and movie image.
* Rate your movies.
* Add comments to your movies.
* Export your movies to html or text document.
* Movie search
* Search for selected movie on ImDB.com.
* i18n support
vMovieDB has a fast and light database based on XML and also comes with additional functionalities such as Genre Editor and Movie Image Viewer.
2. Instalation & uninstalation
2.1 Instaltation
./configure --sysconfdir=/etc/
make
make install
2.2 Uninstalation
If you want to remove the software from your system
use the following command:
make uninstall
3. When you start vMovieDB for the first time
When you start vMovieDB for the first time, directory /home/$USER/.vmoviedb will be created. There vMovieDB will store your movies and genres databases.
NOTE: $USER is your user name.
!!!NEVER EDIT THOSE DATABASES BY HAND OR YOU MAY BREAK THINGS!!!
