Hum ..All the stuff to install database ..
You now have two server
a mpg123 or rxaudio
The mpg123 support a lot of thing that isn't build in rxaudio (esd support .. equalizer .. mp3 streaming .. )
You need a patched edition of mpg123 to make it work !!
The old mp3sb_syncr_db.pl .. you can use it (a bit buggy) stay here because it requires less modules than mp3sync but doesn't support the web access (not maintened)
mp3sync : the new stuff .. a great thing it supports web request on sync.
example mp3sync -add http://mp3.local.fr/files/mp3
This will scan all the web site to find the .mp3 and store the header .. in the databse (It doesn't dowload the mp3 but the server play it directly from the web !!!)
