xchat-xmms is a simple perl plugin for xchat that can be used to control xmms with simple xchat commands ( /xmms_play, /xmms_stop, etc )
It is heavily based on xmms-tool by Andrew Bednarz ( http://www.abednarz.net/xmms-tool.html ). In fact it is a rewritten version that uses Xmms::Remote ( http://search.cpan.org/CPAN/authors/id/D/DO/DOUGM/Xmms-Perl-0.12.tar.gz ) instead of an external C program to control XMMS
