In order to compile, grabMV needs these libraries installed:
libieee1394 http://www.linux1394.org libavc1394 http://sourceforge.net/projects/libavc1394/
Use of this program is rather simple. You first prepare the camera by playing to the point at which you want to start recording to the computer then hit stop or pause. Next, run the program. This will instruct the camera to play and begin recording. As the recording progresses the mpeg2 stream scenes will be written to seperate files. When you are finished recording, press ctrl-c and the camera will be instructed to stop.
